Rurouni Kenshin
The Final uses the character Kenshin’s struggle to fit into a peaceful age to reflect the country’s anxiety about its involvement in Korea and Taiwan, and the growing tensions with China. While Kenshin is a symbol of his country, so is Japan, and the newfound stability is threatened by the past. The anime is an intensely moving story about the rebirth of a country that once was a war-torn nation.

However, Jaken saved his life by helping him defeat the illusion powers of the demons.
Inuyasha’s feelings for Kagome began to develop gradually during the series. He began to protect her, even if it meant denying his feelings for her. He often rebuked himself for hurting her, and competed with Kikyo for her affection. But, despite his rivalry with Kikyo, Kagome never showed any attraction to him, and rejected Inuyasha’s advances. However, it was obvious to Kagome and the group of friends that Inuyasha loved her, and she admired this. The jealousy Inuyasha felt for her was also a source of comfort to her.
The series has many fans, with over 50 million copies of the manga in print. The manga series first aired as a one-hour special, and the anime series was then adapted into two anime television series by Sunrise, with the first running for 167 episodes on Yomiuri TV. Inuyasha: The Final Act, which ran for 26 episodes from October 2009 to March 2010, has also been adapted into four feature films. And there’s a light novel, and even a video game.

The story is set in a world that resembles ours. A mysterious man named Shoukei comes to Yoko Nakajima and swears allegiance to him. Soon, he takes her to the world of Kaikyaku, fugitives who roam the twelve kingdoms. The Kaikyaku – hunters who escaped the past – are desperate to survive. In order to escape the hunt, they must travel to different parts of the world.
